TEST FOR DIM?

Some time ago when we were discussing different homeopathic/nutritional supplements we all take, someone mentioned that there is a recommended blood test to take before you start taking DIM, which is anti-estrogen. If someone recalls what this was, or if you're the person who posted the info, can you post it again?

Thanks so much! (((HUGS))) to all of you!

    Testing for estrogen metabolites

It was Tethys41 who posted that you should check the estrogen metabolite (2:16) ratio before taking DIM. That test is usually not done by regular medical doctors. You would have to find a naturopath or an intgrative/ alternative doctor to run the test.

I think one of the labs that does the test is Metametrics & I don't think insurance covers it.

I think you are probably OK just to eat the foods that have DIM (cruciferous veggies).
