Has anyone had Tram Flap reconstruction? I would like to know if you recommend it and how long is the recovery.

    DIEP Flap
I had DIEP flap reconstruction and skin sparring mastectomy in January. I think the difference is that TRAM uses abdominal muscle, DIEP does not. DIEP uses the fat from the abdomen. Through microsurgery veins and arteries are reconnected.
