Black Eyed Susan Day at Pimlico was yesterday. They partnered with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. They honored 87 breast cancer survivors with a nice lunch and gifts. It was a fun time and great day!

I happened to catch the race
I happened to catch the race on tv today. I can't help but chuckle about all the pre-race hype that goes on for hours before the big race and the actual race lasts about two minutes. Too funny... All in all though it's great to hear about the breast cancer connection.
Awesome...

The Preakness
When I was a student at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore I had the opportunity to attend the Preakness. It was a great day. That was the year that Affirmed and Alydar were the top competitors. It is nice to hear that the track owners and organizers think that the breast cancer cause is important enough to acknowledge on their biggest day. IRENE0
