    This sounds familiar
I hate to tell you, my surgery was in December of '09 and I have scar tissue the size of a golf ball where my lumpectomy was--still! My surgeon said sometimes it happens, and it will probably never go away. Sometimes it hurts when I raise my arms or when I press on it. I don't like it being there, but I don't think there's anything I can do at this point.

Massaging really didn't help--I went to a lymph. specialist. I'm learning to live with it. My "new normal"!!! Hmmmm. Let me know if you get any good advice from anyone.

    Hugs, Renee
