New here, feeling sad

My husband was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 6 years ago. We’ve had a long fight with chemo, spinal cord injury and surgery, kidney failure and stem cell replacement. It is so tiring and so sad. We have 2 boys that are 16 and 11. Their dad doesn’t work now so they get to have more of him in their lives, for this I am grateful. They spend his good days doing things together, but many of our hopes and dreams are dead and gone now, grieved over and buried. He’s changed through all of it, not as arrogant and mean as he was. He’s become more caring and thoughtful of me. I’m glad for this too. The cancer is back now and he’s back on chemo after 18 months post stem cell. For me it’s just incredibly sad.

Cancer gives most a tough road and some tougher than others.
Prayer lifted and hugs sent your way this day.
To hear this. I am sending you good vibes and hugs your way.
