Life after Eligard etc.

keep us apprised on impact of Eligard. Yeah, balance was major headache and dangerous. I fell twice walking my dog on trails that I've walked for years.. Also, mood. Sort of what you hear about menopause....and given it's hormonal....might be good comparison. My behavior got me in trouble for my insensitivity. Others got offended. I'd apologize and blame meds.
Thanks for comment about Lipitor. Sounds like it's worth a try.

Had the 8th and last shot of Eligard today. My urologist said most likely to notice symptoms diminished and feel back to normal in about 9-12 months. I did discuss the incontinence issue with him and asked if he has implanted the Boston Scientific AMS 800 for urinary control. He said he’d done many over the last ten years with very good feed back. My brother just had it done last summer and he marvels about the good result. I’m hoping and praying my balance and equilibrium get back to normal in the coming 6-9 months. All the best to everyone whose had a prostatectomy.

Just a followup on the Lipitor. (slightly off topic)
My PCP wanted me to stay on it. He presecribed the 10mg tablet to replace the 20. And said that if the leg pain is still bad, take it every other day, and every third until it's acceptable. I've found that the 10 every other day works

last injection was Feb 2021.
Testosterone made first jump in Feb 2022. Only measured every six months along with PSA. So, roughly a year in my case. I'll probably have PSA and testosterone measured again in February.
