Jaw pain and tightness under chin

Hi Janie...I had several
Hi Janie...I had several facial symptoms but not jaw pain or tightness. I had a numb spot on my cheek, my lips were tingly, teeth numb, tongue fuzzy, and that glass in the throat with cold drinks. I have heard others that had what you describe. I hope you hear from someone. Thinking of you.

Do they give you Decadron to take at home after your chemo treatments? for inflammation?
i do get a IV steroid at the beginning of chemo. i'll mention to onc. so many drugs, how do they know what causes what...confusing -

They gave me Decadron IV then a tapered dose to take at home for 4 days. I still had side effects but would it be worse without?...I don't know. I really feel like I don't know anything.

I know much less, that's for sure ...but that gives me something to ask, about. Thanks. I always wonder about steroids and the tapering...when to taper, when to not.
