"It's a Small World After All"
My favorite ride by far (Do they still have it - haven't been to Disney World since 1991?)
Actually I was there opening day - what a ZOO!
Also went there for Honeymoon. Can't remember all the times i've been there either in hotels or 'camping' - lived about 140 m. southwest.

Like Susan said, It's a Small World! I have always liked Mickey Mouse and grew up watching the Mouseketeers. My husband & I went to Disney for our honeymoon. We took our children to Disney 3 times (all we could afford). We went back for our 30th wedding anniversary in 2000. My next dream is to take the Disney cruise.
Once a month for the past year+ I have taken a Disney scrapbooking class. The woman who teaches it goes to Disney several times a year. If I could afford it I would take my children and all the grandkids. Oh, what fun we would have. It's a great feeling to being a kid at heart

When you wish upon a star...
Disney Fan!! Are you kidding me??? Actually we live very close to Disneyland and had annual passports for most of our children's young life!! My kids are now 18 and 24 and still beg to have their Disney passes when we have enough money to pay for them...Also, I participated in the Disney half marathon last year...
I guess you could say we live and breathe Disney at our house!!

Yup Disney World opened Oct 1, 1971. Brother and I sent Mom and Daddy to 'The World" for a week for their 30th anniversary (Contempary Hotel).
Never did any of their trailers/cabins, always when we stayed at Ft. Wilderness either tented it or travel trailered it.0 -
Disneyland Park, Anaheim opened....
July 17, 1955.....
I 'opened' July 29, 1955.....
Cool to share a birth month/year with a theme park!!!
(On my 50th, we were planning a big party there, complete with Mickey and the gang. Then, the Thanksgiving before (2004) I was fighting cancer...for all of 2005....all was cancelled...sigh...see why I HATE cancer so much????? *smile*)

I just went to Disneyland today, my youngest son has today and Monday off from school. So we just decided to go. Like Ms. Gadget my family are passholders so we are able to go often. Tomorrow Disneyland will have the premire of the new pirates move " On Strange Tides" so it will close to the public at 5:00 P.M.. I kept looking for Johnney Depp but I didn't see him, sigh. On another note some of the oldtimers might remember that I was afraid to go to Disneyland while I was on chemo because I lost my tooth and it was just too much for me to bear( to be seen not only bald but toothless) but because of the wise advise of my fellow CSN'rs I went and had a great time with my children. Love Disneyland. Went in
Love Disneyland. Went in January. I grew up pretty close to Disney and most of my friends worked there in high school. They could have 2 guests on the days that they worked so our whole group would hang out. Then had passes when my boys were young and my youngest had most of his birthday parties there.
Still one of my favorite places!0 -

Spent 3 days at Disneyland & California Adventure the first week of April. I, too, share a birth year with Disneyland. I kind of like to think Walt built it for me.......
Nothing beats the Blue Bayou Restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride!0 -
