Should I be worried?

liver lesion
6 months after I had my surgery, I had a Abdomen CT and many low grade lesions were found on my liver. I also was told that many people had 'spots' on the liver. I was very concerned but felt a little better because they were low grade. 6 months later this April, I had a follow up scan on my liver and there was no change which is what you want to hear. Onco said maybe have another scan in a year.
Hope this helps to give you a little peace of mind.0 -

I too am triple negative...same, invasive ductal carcinoma...no lymph node involvement and no liver lesions for me...my lumpectomy was 2 years ago this month, followed by chemo and rads....but a good friend went through bc last year...her scans showed a lesion also on her liver...she, of course was terrified..her Oncologist said the same as yours.....nothing to really worry about..she has had three more scans and MRI..nothing has changed...no growth, etc....she was told they would, just to be safe, repeat in July...she was also told she had a "fatty liver."
Keep us posted
Wishing you the best...we care

Me too
I am also triple neg. invasive ductal carcinoma. My pet scan also showed a small cyst on my liver when I was dx last July. Dr. never addressed it and I never asked so I guess it wasn't anything to be concerned about. I had pet scan about 5 months ago...I guess it is not an issue and probably is benign as many of them are.

I'd Be VERY Overly Causious
It may be a good idea to have another radiologist look at your scans. The ability and experience of the radiologist makes all the difference in the world. If you have any inkling of doubt, get a second opinion. You don't want to mess with anything going on in the liver when it comes to cancer.
If the doctor is without any doubt sure of what he see's then I would definitely keep a close eye on it and get rechecked in a month or two...I wouldn't wait 3!
Blessings,

I haven't had experience in
I haven't had experience in that area so cannot comment, but I would think your onco would be more likely to know about the leison and whether or not you should worry. It really could be just scar tissue from something else. I will keep you in my prayers and please be sure keep us updated.
