Today is the one year anniversary of my uni-lateral mastectomy. What a year.

On a happier note, my youngest son got married this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day! Everything was wonderful and a good time was had by all. I posted some pictures on my Expressions page.

I had my 16th Herceptin treatment yesterday, then hubby and I decided to head to the beach for a few days of r & r. It's beautiful here.

    I am sure the year went fast, at least mine seems to be zipping by. I'd hate to total the hours spent in doctors offices though. Enjoy the beach... and make sure you use that sun screen. LOL

    At first it feels like time standing still and then, all of the sudden - a year has passed. I'm glad you had agreat day for your son's wedding an getting a little R&R with hubby. I'm gona check out those pics!

    I have TWO more Herceptin treatments left. Will finish in June. Yay!

    Jean - I am right with you :)
    My last herceptin treatment is June 13th. 2 more left then I'm done. My dr. already scheduled to have my port removed the week of June 13th. I'm so happy :)
    How do you feel? Have you had your scans done yet? I had mine end of April and they all came back all clear.
    Your hair looks great. Mine is about like yours. I need to post a current one, this one you see is me in a wig. :)
    What stage was your cancer?

    Looks to me like life is grand, just grand in Jeane-land!
    Can you believe you have been through ALL that?
    I finished my Herceptin end of January.. that was a long haul.
