That is correct. All alongpepebcn said:You mean one doc said everything was working and the other
said not? what about your scans and your CEA ? .
Hugs!
That is correct. All along I was told things are looking great. I was even told I have a better chance of getting hit by lightening than this cancer doing me in. Then she left the practice... and it went downhill from there. I don't know if I was not told the truth, but I am sooo confused. I had a scan in October and everything was shrinking, then a PET scan and I was told they can not see the tumor in the lung, and the liver mets were shrinking and the original tumor in the colon was gone, just hardened mass from radiation. They tell me surgery is not an option, but I have been reading some of the discussions and it appears there are alot of options0 -

Our treatments
and timelines are similar. I have had no mets to any major organs, but I do have extensive lymph node involvement. I am just a year older than you.
I am also starting the Irenotecan/Cetuximab regimen, but without the Ramucirumab, beginning of June.
Many of us are on the "lifetime" chemo plan, with regular change-ups in the cocktail.
It is not giving up in any way. It is just part of the new normal of being a cancer patient.0
