Question Help!!
On her cat scan it showed everything shrinking, liver started necrosis and her colon tumor was undetectable. She has a stent her colon did not erupt. She had one small tumor growth in the liver though and her CEA was a 9
last cat scan everything was stable..her CEA was dropping and it was down to a 3..then she went for another cat scan her lungs are stable but the liver tumors are growing and some are not. But her cea dropped??? a lot should something have shrunk?
so the doctor wanted to put her on cpt 11..he said everything was good but he doesn't want the liver tumors to get out of hand so he wants to catch it.
Someone told me i should stop My moms chemo and put her on hospice..?
But shes only been on one chemo treatment and it never stoped working just two tumors are acting up........
Wat should we do?

Yeah it isBuckwirth said:Who Recommended Hospice?
That seems confusing.
A stupid social worker......My mom was upset about the new growth. So she was saying how she wants to see me and my sister grow up and have kids. Then this stupid social worker came and said don't worry about it, its not going to happen. Maybe in a month you should start calling hospice. The point was she did not get dreadful news what so ever..My sister is a bio-chemist an said that we should ignore her because she is plain stupid. My mom cannot, she keeps saying the woman is right and stuff0 -

Maybe you should go to the Oncologist with mom and tell them about the social worker statements. He/she can probably put your moms fears to rest.
Who did the social worker represent? A report to them might be in order as well.0 -

The nurses had called her in, because my mom was upset. I'm going to report her. I think she even belonged to another oncologist.0 -
