I started waving at passing airplanes

and am really starting to enjoy it. You see I do a little jogging just to help with the anxiety. Scans in two weeks so this is always an anxious time. Anyway, I live rather close to an airport and the planes take off nearby. By the time they get over my residential street, I'm sure someone looking out, can still make out a human. I wear bright colors as to not be hit by a car. I wait for just the right angle and begin waving frantically. I then stop for a brief moment hoping someone is leaning over on the seat poking their wife/husband, "Look at that idiot, he didn't take his medication today". By this time I'm sure they now have their spouse looking out the window and that's when I start waving frantically again. I then laugh uncontrollably afterwords.

So how do you wave at airplanes?

I LOVE it! I swing. At the park, on the swings. I'm sure people driving by think I'm insane. I am. And I don't care. I also blow bubbles. The new colored ones from Crayola are the best thing ever. Just don't blow them in the house. They stain.

For some reason I am always amazed when I see them flying. My Son works for Metro in the air port and he will invite me now and then to his work place. I can’t wait to go so I can see all the air planes take off and land.

I am a fool for a good take off & landing

Stop Lights
I sometimes when I need a good laugh I pull up to stop light with someone along side me, sit and blow the horn... then wave the other way and say sitting until they pull away at green light, the looks I get are hilarious.

Ratface, I always love to read your posts, one never knows what you might come up with so they are always interesting. A good laugh is good for the soul. Good luck on your scan! Homer

Ratface, I am a flight attendant. I'll be watching for you. By the way, there is always someone on the plane who is crazier (and it COULD be the flight attendant!)
