Ok why can I not figure this site out??

I have been posting for about a month and I can not figure out when some one posts to my thread or if someone replies to me unless I hunt for it and open it up. Is that how it is?? I have chemo brain and cam not remember every place I post stuff and I want to go back where I have posted but can't find things, they move around. Am I just real slow or is that just how it is? I wish it was more like facebook and would put a little notification when I have a response or someone else comments after I have. I am getting a bit sad that I miss things.

This site is not great. You have the option to 'Add to favorites' after you've begun a thread and can fairly easily track your favorites with 'Manage Favorites'. Both options are available in the upper right hand corner under the Log Out.

Not great, but it certainly supports the common wisdom, you get what you pay for.

I get confused all of the time and I didn't even have chemo. LOL

If someone posts to your thread, you do have to look for your thread, as, the newest replies to any thread make that thread go to the top of the page. Then, when you or someone else replies to your thread, it will bump it to the top.

I think you may be able to subscribe to posts and have them show up in your e-mail here at this site. I have never tried it but it is at the top of your post below the title.

You might also try sorting
You might also try sorting the posts by the date they were created. Just click the "created" button twice...hope this helps.

Anyone have problem getting into chat?

I cannot enter at all won't let me enter my own name or password though they say it isn't needed.

Just wondering anyone else having same problem and my java is up to date.

Well at least it is not just me. I also have a problem with the chat when I click on "chat" it takes me to a blank page with an email address on it that I can't do anything with. GRRR... Of course I love all the ladies on here and the great help and friendship so I will keep coming I am just a bit frustrated.

I'm getting used to this board too. One of the things I have noticed and it's probably something you've already spotted. When you bring up the discussion board, if you look under the replies it shows "highlighted in blue" the number of new posts that have been made in that thread since you last opened it.

Simple thing but hey... I'm a little slow.. LOL

I found with the chat that
I found with the chat that it only supports IE not other browsers. That's not saying that I was able to use it. I did get on but there was no-one there.
