Yay he made it
Hi Tina...I am so happy for you both! I remember those 5 weeks SO VERY well!!!....I am proud of him!..It actually got worse even after the radiation due to the burns so be prepared for more possible pain. I couldn't leave my house for 3 weeks (because I couldn't hardly sit or walk or lay or pee) I think this is when I started taking Vicodin which may have helped with the diarrhea some...Now on to a good scan girl!
Love and hugs, Gail -

We all know how the end of radiation and 5fu feels....That is a victory in itself, now we want either smaller tumors or none at all. While we hope we might as well think completely gone......Yes, as Shanna says, have a celebration for this milestone you 2 have reached, every step reached in this journey is another victory....Love you both, buzz -

Oh, it will feel so good for Jorge to get that pump off after 5 weeks of it! I go crazy with it on for just the 46 hours. Anyhow, time marches on and it's great that he's gotten to the end of his radiation and will be looking ahead at getting the tumors taken out!
Hugs to you both,
