cyst with high cancer markers head of pancreas

i have been told i have a cyst on the head of the pancreas with cea of 8995 and that i should probably have a whipple procedure. does anyone have this and did they have this procedure? what are the chances it will spread? how long should i wait? canada doesn't have fast health care you can wait 6 months for a consult and the same for a surgery date. is time important? thank you to all that can help me in any way.
