chemo class is really helpful,
at least the one I went to was. It helped to know the basics before starting out. Please note, though, that they may talk about ALL the side effects that COULD happen - but the likelihood is that you will not experience all or even most of them.
You did not mention what type of chemo you are having?

Nancy,
I am so glad that
Nancy,
I am so glad that they have you scheduled. Now you can start the countdown to the finish. Chemo is hard, but the alternative is much harder! And truly, for me, the anticipation was and is worse than the actual treatments. Good luck to you. I had never heard of a chemo class. That is really a good idea so ask away while you are there. I learned most of what I know through experience and others on this board. I didn't know what NED was and I was dancing with NED for 8 1/2 years!!

Good luck with your first chemo.
Been a long time for you IMO but it is now getting started. Good Luck. Will be thinking of you next week.
I can't help you with chemo since I didn't have it but I am sure your doctor has been over everything.

good they are getting on it.
I'm so glad that the train to recovery is fueling up for you. The wait for the treatment is the worst for me. I go for my chemo consult on 4/26 and have been eager to go for two weeks now. I will put you on the prayer list.0 -

good luck with your treatments......ask lots of questions....it is the unknown that is frightening to all of us. We are all here routing for you to have great treatment results with little or no side effects. But whatever it takes....you will get the job done and have this behind you. Hugs sent your way........0 -

Now that you have a plan with chemo, you can hopefully get thru it with no side effects and have all of this behind you.
Wishing you well,
