TURMERIC

I have included turmeric in my diet. I make a paste of turmeric, black pepper and olive oil and use it as a sauce. I have also read in the book of Dr.David Servan-Schreiber - Anti-cancer A New Way of Life that drinking green tea mixed with turmeric is a a very good cocktail. I was searching the internet and came across that curmeric is classified as estrogenic spice. My bc is estrogen positive. I am on my fourth year on anastrozole. Going to see the doctor this month and ask if taking turmeric regularly is bad for me.

    Turmeric
I have read the same book and tried it as well. The mixture you mention makes it more pleasant for sure. I was not aware that it may be estrogenic... That would be good to know as my BC is hormone based. I wonder if that effects it.

    I don't know about tumeric
I don't know much about tumeric but I am a bad eater.I looked things up and read some about FUSION(fruit/veg drink) and it is a antioxident.I drink 2 glasses a day or more. Then I read good things about garlic.I try to eat garlic bread and garlic butter 2 times a week.Other than that I eat broccoli and brussel sprouts for my veggies. Not a big fruit eater.

I love these things and so far I'm not tired of them.I don't take vitamins but might think about it. 3 glasses of juice can give me my daily need.I like it much better than my caffeine free pop.

The Peach Mango is the best.I can drink it without any problem. Not sipping it like some flavors of the FUSION.

    don't know either
Since I'm E+ I think think I would avoid tumeric. My onc insists on a red-skinned apple daily, dark fruit juices, fiber capsules, and Men's One-a-Day. I also like the fusions but enjoy cran-apple juice as well.

    online research
Just did some checking online and found most things list tumeric as estrogenic, suggesting it for relief of menopausal symptoms and menstral cramps as well as an anti-inflamatory. I think I'll pass on something that is estrogenic since my tumor tested 80% E+. If I remember I'll ask my onc when I see him next.
