anyone have success with folfox avastin oxaliplatin

my partner started chemo about six weeks ago (one treatment every two weeks) and has had what seems like an amazing response to the chemo in a short time. He was in tremendous pain with a very enlarged liver. His liver has shrunk to almost normal and he has no pain. He has some side effects, but has been able to eat well and gain back some of the weight he lost and is gaining energy. Anyone have any info on extended success with this treatment (folfox avastin oxaliplatin). The oncologist seems to say that one can continue this treatment "up to a year or more". Thanks, Audrey
