stage 3c
I was just diagonsed Feb 28, 2011 with ovarian 3c with metaste to my liver, diaphram, small intestines, colon and rectum. I am currently undergoing chemo once every three weeks with carbo/taxol and my gyn ocologist said what they saw on my liver and diaphram they couldn't remove because it looked like some poored sand on it, very small particles and that the chemo should kill it. I haven't gone for genetic testing I am sort of nervous to do it. -
similar
I was diagnosed 3C in May 2006 and 3 years later recurred with similar results that you are speaking of. I have not been tested for the BRCA2 gene. I also could not recieve good results with more surgery. I've been undergoing chemo now for the past 15 months and have been able to retain an even CA-125 ( not in normal range, but not too bad and steady ). I feel very well when it's not one of those "chemo days". I'm so sorry that you have to go through all of this and if I can help in any way, I'm here.
