Our group name: CP9
Over the summer, we'll be working on an itinerary for the weekend which will provide many opportunities to talk and get to know one another and sightseeing. Attendees can come to any and all group outings.
Although I am no longer a regular on the board as needs change in different stages of our lives, I am greatful for the board for providing a place to vent, ask questions, and for the friendships formed as a result of taking the first step and attending a Palooza to meet some of the folks I'd been chatting with. I had no idea what to expect at the first Paolooza I attended-(will these people be weird?, what if I hate it?, will it be a weekend of sorrow?) It was a blast! And yes, some of us are weird. Everyone was there to have a good time and celebrate.

Just a quick note to encourage everyone who is able to attend CP9 to do so. Having been to 7 of the 8 CP's to date I can tell you that you will come away with a fresh outlook on life. Lots of tears, laughs and good times with new and old friends.

I am sooo looking forward to
I am sooo looking forward to attending my 1st ColonPalooza.
I am 2 years from diagnosis
1 year and 2 months from liver resection.
I live in chicago burbs and work downtow, so I will be able to make some outings
Oh, not sure if anyone would be interested:
A woman at the office does stand up and improv on the side. She runs a group that does some comedy for kids at children hospitals in the area too
One of her comedian friends wants to do her version of "The Vagina Monologues" but it would be about the Butt. So shes working on material, etc...and I'm like" OMG, the semi-colons would be great audience to test your material on, all we do is talk about, ****, poop, bms, farts, etc...and we all can share some tragically funny stories - ileostomy bag blow-outs etc.....
so, if the planning committe thinks this may be of interest, maybe we can include, if a viable option at that point, on the agenda items

Can We Make This Happen? Craig/SunDance
I want Craig and His Wife to Come to Chicago for this.
I have free accomodations lined up for him
Anyone with lots of Airline Miles to donate?
It's my selfish wish to give a Hug to that wonderful brave man.
I want us to shower him with Semi-Colon love in person
