Mama is on morphine, hospice is standing by....UPDATE

She is a breast cancer survivor, a real 'sister in pink'. I will miss her, but she was overheard yesterday 'talking' to her mother (my grandmother passed over 20 years ago) and saying 'I want to come with you'. So, she is in a very loving home, being watched over by a gal named Dafodil who is a true sweetheart. I told my mom to go on, and take care of her mother and father, my dad, and my daughter. I will miss her.
Hug your loved ones, and keep them close. You never know.
Hugs, Kathi
Mom died this morning, 4:14 on 4/14. She was my friend and my mom. I shall miss her. But she will remain forever in my heart....rest well, mama!

Sending you and your
Kathi,
Sending you and your family prayers through this difficult time. My Dad also talked to his family members while in Hospice. I found it comforting. I told him that soon he would see his Mom and Son who were waiting for him and would pick him up to show him around.
I know it sounds strange but after that he slept peacefully until the next day when he passed. I would like to think that our passed loved ones do greet us when our time comes.
God Bless you all.
Prayers and Hugs,

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She put up a brave fight, and is now resting peacefully with her loved ones around her. I am sending you strength as you go through these next few days. We will all be near if you need anything. So sad. Hugs, Judy -
So Sorry for Your Loss
It's so very painful. But given the circumstances, I believe, it's for the better.
I lost my father in Feb. to esophageal cancer. It was heartbreaking to watch my father, a strong, intelligent man wither away in the hospital bed. I remember sitting on the side of his bed, holding his hand and praying that God would just take him already. His health and life as we've always known it was never coming back. There comes a point where you just accept and want them to move on with God.
None the less...it's a huge loss. But you are right...they might not be physically here with us, but they will always be a part of us and live in our hearts.
Praying for you that God would shower you with His love and comfort in the next days, weeks and months. It will be hard, but you will get through it.
Blessings,
Sally -

So, so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. You have another angel in heaven looking out for you. In time, hoping the wonderful memories you have of her with help to dry your tears. She is in the arms of the angels.

without your mom, confidant, friend and gentle spirit. You meant so much to your Mom, as well -- never forget that.
I am so sorry, my friend. Having the opportunity to spend time with you last Thursday, 1 short week ago, I know first handed how much you LOVED and ADORED your Mom.
RIP, you brave WARRIOR.
Strength, Courage and Peace I pray for you, Kathi.

Kathi,
Please join my condolences to the others you have received. I lost my Mom just before I got diagnosed last year. I would give anything to have her call me one more time. I didn't know just how much I would miss her until she was gone.
