Update on my father
My dad had his 3 month post op check up and CT. The results were all good. The MIE went well and after having his new esophagus stretched, he's doing remarkable. He's able to eat without much problem, however he does still overeat, but he's learned to control portions.
I want to thank everyone for the advice and prayers that we recieved. I don't think we'd be where we are today without it.
Thanks so much

Glad Your Dad is Doing Well
Danielle,
So glad your dad is doing well. I must say reading your post I kind of freaked out. My maiden name is Greer. My father, Roger D. Greer, passed away on Feb. 16th at the age of 69. Seeing that your dad's the same age, it was just really strange.
I'll continue to pray for you and your family. Who knows, you could all be a distant relative of ours! LOL.
Blessings,

Hi,
I've been doing the Greer ancestry - where are you from and what are some of your grandparents' names - I might find you as a 2nd or 3rd cousin:) stranger things have happened.

Danielle, I am so happy to hear the good news about your father. He and my husband are the same age and went through their surgeries about the same time. My husband is dealing with the same issue of the serving portions.
So very happy for all of you,
Linda
I'm glad that your husband is doing better. I followed your story from Idaho to OSHU. Hope the weather is better there - been raining cats and dogs here in Oregon until yesterday and we saw some sun:)
Take care

WELL - spoke too soon. Walked out of the office to get a coffee and it was raining - glorious Oregon liquid sunshine:) Maybe tomorrow0 -

We are so tired of the rain and yes! snow! Jim and I took off to California for a road trip. The blue skies and sunshine are so wonderful! It is 66 degrees and we drove with the window down, YAY!
Hopefully Spring will come to Oregon and Idaho, let's keep the faith!
