Check out the nicely written article in the May issue of Woman's Day magazine. The article is titled "The Stigma of Illness". Talks about AIDS,Lung Cancer and Mental Illness. The woman does a great job relaying the stigma I've felt when people ask What kind of cancer do you have? Lung ca definitely gets less compassion than Breast Ca. I don't ask someone with breast ca if they took hormones, didn't breastfeed or drank alot! Hoping this article opens up some hearts!
