Saw Surgeon today -
He is sending report to my PA and want her to see me every 6 months - no problem at all and wants yearly mammos (for the 'one' that is still there) sent to him! So now 2 Doctors have told me they never want to see me again (my Rad Dr and now my Surgeon). I see my Chemo Dr in July or Aug (don't remember exactly the date). My PA is fantastic - she's been there for me for many years - she was staff at the Retreat I was at this weekend.

Congratulations!
What a milestone! My surgeon says he'll see me for several years, onc. too. BUt I think the rads expert will probably let me go next month. I never knew my calendar could get so full with docs. Really glad I like them all.
Hope you're going to party hearty! ALways celebrate the milestones. -

Good to be down to 2 docs. I see my onc every 3 months for 5 yrs. How often for you? See breast surgeon every 6 months (no boobs left) for the next couple. Lots of node involement. Once again, great news. Deep sigh of relif. Katz
Chemo Dr. every 6 months now. Last time I saw him, he said that we'd go to yearly after the next one.
My PA is fantastic - I can get ahold of her easy and either talk to her or get in FAST if needed. -

All I can say is...laughs_a_lot said:What a relief
It's gotta be a relief that you don't need to have a long term commitment to these folks even if it did save your life.
FANTASTIC!
Wishing you the best of health!

that's good news! I see my radiologist in November and that might be the last one. I'll see onc every 3 months for now and then every 6 months afterwards. I see my surgeon in June and will have minor reconstruction on sides of body so will most likely have a couple of appts afterwards. It gets better I'm sure with time.
