I do not have a diagnosis of lymphoma, nor am I a survivor, or in remission. Presently going through testing due to abdominal lymphadenopathy, found in the CT scan for appendicitis. ER radiologist said it was lymphoma, I'm hoping she's wrong. Last Monday I had my core needle biopsy. The needle was insert through my back. Wasn't bad, probably because I was heavily sedated, do remember hearing the Dr say "coming with a sample" 14 times. Though he told my friends in the waiting room he took 15 samples. Guess I snoozed through one of them. Anyway there was a pathologist in the next room. The Dr told me the pathologist said 10 of the samples were good for research. I called the Cancer Center today to see if the results were in...and they are. My results appointment is Monday morning, it's going to be the longest weekend.
