Need prayers for my son.

We were told today that because my son is type 0 blood type he will be waiting another 3 years for a kidney donor. It has been 2 years already and we never realized that the wait was so long. I was a match but then they discovered I had bc. He just turned 37 so he will be at least 40before he's off dialysis. I've been crying all day.

    So sorry
    This is so tragic to wait.I have 2 friends that are waiting(husband and wife) and one other did receive a kidney.Not doing good but is living.I think it isn't his kidney but other medical problems.

    With the type O being the blood type that so many have it probably would be harder with more on a waiting list.I am O negative. I have one son 0 positive and the other 2 are A positive. A positive is rare.

    Prayers for your son that just maybe a miracle will happen and he gets a kidney sooner.

    I can understand how you feel not being able to help him.

    When I found out I immediately thought to turn to my sisters.
    Thank you. It is a comfort to know that you are there for us and your prayers are appreciated. My son is my hero and he is taking the news in stride. He knows it could be much worse. He knows about Moopy and our other friends on this site. I just want him to be free of the dialysis routine and be able to live a normal life. Maybe I am asking too much but I'm a mom and my heart is broken.

    I can't imagine Roseann
    I can't imagine Roseann having a son that needs a kidney and has to wait so long for it. I know it is heartbreaking. Please know that all of the pink sisters are going to be praying really hard for him.

    The health and safety of our children is paramount for mothers. I think of my 3 and how they are during this stressful time for me. I can't imagine how it would be if they had a health problem of such gravity. My thoughts are with your family and I hope a donor arrives sooner than 2 years.

    Please add me to the list of Sisters in prayer for your son. I have a son, too. I found out today that he was in the hospital for chest pain (he lives in another state) and during the workup they found a spot on his lung. My son is 30. Doesn't matter the age, they are still our babies, aren't they?
