Petscan results on my brother!!

in Esophageal Cancer #1
Just talked with my brother who is so excited and also so exhausted. The test results shows the tumor is just about completely gone except for two pieces of it. One mass on the top where the tumor was and one mass on the bottom, very small. I don't know specific details on size as I am getting news second hand and my brother was so tired I did not feel to discuss it with him for now.The doctor is talking with a surgeon in Chicago University and sending in all the results, the surgeon will review them and then my brother will meet with the surgeon to see if he can have surgery or not. If not then they believe they can get the remaining of the tumor with radiation. NO MORE CHEMO!!
I was praying that he would not have to take anymore chemo and praise God the doctor said he is through with chemo!! This is great news in itself as this was making my brother so very sick most of the time. Keep praying!! I will keep all you dear people informed as I hear it.

    pray for ray (Jr.) just got back from docs...PRAISE GOD the tumor has dissapatted into two masses. one above his stint and one at the lower junction of the esophegas...we are going to Rush university to see a surgeon..its a long shot but might be a possibility to remove masses..if not then radiation..keep praying

    Hello Sandy
    First let me ask how you are doing. Hope all is well.
    I believe my brother goes the 20th of this month.
    He is still so very sick from the pet scan he just had. It never did him like this before. He is so very weak and just does not feel like eating.
    I HATE suffering!!!
    I will let you know what the surgeon says.
