2 years???
Hi Michelle,
Can't believe it's going to be 2 years already. The time goes so fast it's scarey. How are you doing? My husband has just been gone 1 year on the 25th of March. It really so hard to believe that he's been gone that long and yet is seems like so long since he held me in his arms. I still remember that day in January when we found out he had cancer. We came home and cried with our arms around each other. He was going to retire in June and we were going to do so many things and then he got the "death" sentence.
So now we're going on alone, but Michelle, we've made it and we have to continue to be strong as our husbands would want us to be. Take care!!! Carole0 -

We are coming up on anniversaries of those milestones: the last avastin treatment, the last MRI, the last oncology appointment, the day hospice came in. June 14 will be a year that my Terry died. I still can't believe he is gone. Wonder if life will ever be "good" again. Oh well, life goes on, right?0 -
Thanks
Thanks for being here with us. I will be reaching 1 1/2 years soon. You have been one of my role models throughout this time. I guess those anniversary dates will always be difficult. I talked to a friend yesterday who lost his wife 10 years ago and is even happily remarried. He told me that he still has down times when certain days roll around or something else sparks a memory. We are strong; we continue to move forward. We will never forget. Fay0 -

Becky,
When I saw "last Avastin treatment" it caught my eye. That's what my hubby died from was a RARE side effect from Avastin. How long did Terry get treated with it?? How did he die? I'm just so curious to find out if what happened to Tom happened to anyone else.
You're right live does go on, but it's not the same without the loves of our lives.
We'll do okay, and once the anniversaries are over especially the 1st of everything, I hope things get better for all of us who have just lost our hubby's.
Take care!!! Friends, Carole0
