Only that they're stiff and sore if I sit for too long. It takes me several steps before I can walk upright. I hope you get some relief soon.

mostly in my knees, ankles and feet. When I get up after watching tv for an hour or so, I remind myself of my 87-year-old mom! Takes a few steps to get it going.
My onc. gave me the 2-week rule. If I have any type of ache or pain for longer than 2 weeks, call her.

Hi Dee
Right after chemo, I could barely straighten my knees and when
I walked they swell after even short walk, so did my ankles. I was told
to start taking Glucosamine for joint health and it really worked for
me. You can check with your oncologist maybe.
I hope you can find a solution to this soon, I can only speak for myself
but the immobility nearly drove me insane.. lol.

I'm sorry to hear about your knee pain. I've suffered from osteoarthritis since 2000. I had gained 80+ lbs during menopause and quit smoking. My weight has been an issue since. I had lost weight before being dx only to regain it all. Next week I'm starting a new weight loss plan under the guidance of my gyn. I also have lumbar stenosis. I'm seeing a neurosurgeon in a couple of weeks to discuss. I have my husband put Lidoderm patches on my back at night. It even hurts sitting. I have been on arthritis meds since 2000 and my rheumatologist asked me to cut it in half until I have more blood work done to see if med is causing other problems in my body. I feel like I'm 90 when I wake in the morning. I have to tell my legs to move and the pain in the knees is bad. Like Renee, I have to take several steps after watching tv before I'm standing straight. I actually have quite a limp. My left knee doesn't want to bend. I had a torn meniscus repaired in June '08 and I just saw the orthopediest a few weeks ago. He said when I can't stand the pain anymore it's time for a new knee. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Yeah I finally went to see my GP and he xrayed it. He says bone spurs but catelidge looks good, so we're trying anti inflamatories to see if that helps. I can't straighten my right leg right now...hobbling around on my tippy toes....geeze....what next!0 -

I finally got my left leg to stop hurting after 2 months, now my right leg is hurting. You never know from one day to the next what pain you will wake up with. It gets tiresome quick.0 -

If it isn't one thing, it's another! Sorry you are having so much pain. I hope that you will feel better soon! I have more aches and pains than my 80 year old mother! If it's not my back, it's my knee. If it's not my knee, it's my legs! Geez, will we ever get a break?
