Sorry you are having such an awful time of things KIDS!Sounds like just the right age as their mouths are open more then shut.Kids today just don't have the same respect like when I was a child, not even my own 37yr.old daughter. Not that she takes or steals it's the demeaner.Swear she's thick as a brick sometimes when it comes to my NHL.Think "twice" before you let your children drive you down that path.Life is precious every minute of it.You say your new church helped.Maybe you should call and speak with the pastor and see what they suggest as they are near you.God bless,Michele0 -
No no no....
Please....if you ever start to feel this way again, immediately reach out to your church/pastor or call a hospital/hot-line. Teenagers can be so self centered and yes, even heartless. I'm so sorry you have people in your life adding more pain and not being supportive. Remember you can always come here and someone is usually around to talk with. Life is precious...don't allow anyone to take away your will to live! I'll be keeping you in my daily prayers...Love, Sue (FNHL-2-3a-6/10)0 -
Unbelievable
I can't believe this is still going on in your life. Isn't there a social worker you can
contact? yes, yes, please talk to your pastor. Then have the pastor talk to your family.
Not sure if you have done this already. This is getting so horrible to read your posts.
It breaks my heart. So glad you are at least getting your frustrations out in the open.
Don't keep it in.

i am just so thankful to talk to someone who understands how i feel sometimes i cant hardly read it because of the tears. i havent talked to anyone because i am embarssed that my kids act like this. i feel like i must be a lousy mother. i hope the meds for the thyroid helps me to have more energy i am so tired of feeling like this. wishes for all of you mabey they will find a cure for this soon. i dread that i may have to take chemo. the last time almost killed me i was in the hospital more than i was home. i will ask my church to put all of you on the prayer list at this time all we can do is trust in god doctors dont seem to get what we are going thru i am tired of all the test.0 -

Don't feel embarrassed about how "other" people act, be it your children or anyone else. You just need to worry about yourself and your actions. Let go of the things you have no control over and focus on "your" health and well being. All of the testing is part of the process to figure out what is going on in our bodies and what form of treatments will be best to help us. YES...it is a total pain in the butt and at times it's the hardest stress factor when we are dealing with this lousy cancer...but...it's do-able! You can do this...just take a deep breath and remember you did it once and survived, so you will do it again. Hang in there, and reach out to those that will have your best interest at heart...Church is a great place to go. Be honest with everyone about your situation and forget about feeling embarrassed...you arn't the one doing anything wrong. Keep coming back here and let us know if things get better. Best wishes...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -
