Wishing you the best when you get your mammo.Postive energy and thoughts to you. I think the more mammos we get the more we get used to them. I dreaded the annual but now after diagnosis I am ready for one.Anxious I guess to see if I am OK.
Even though you get a mammo once a year do self exams.I know of a lady who had a mammo in Oct.Nothing.In Nov she did a self exam.Found a lump.Got another mammo. It was malignant. She lived 5 months. This is rare.Makes you wonder if the tumor wasn't caught the first time but who knows???
This July I will be getting my 2nd year mammo. Two years since tumor was found. Then I will be starting to get them once a year.
As I mentioned July I get my mammo. That is when the tumor was found BUT it was Aug 19 I was diagnosed and biopsy was done. Since my doc was slow in getting my tumor dx I told him I want my mammos in July and January till it comes to annuals. Then I MIGHT go into mid August slowly. The Breast Center always says "you are off schedule" and I tell them "that is my doings".
Things will go good for you. Be sure and let us know.
