Hiya Pepe...AnneCan said:Sometimes
I did sometimes get headaches while on folfiri. DO you have the list of positive side effects? You have to be careful what pain med you take if you are on chemo.
Folfiri caused me some problems in my sinus area. First it was continual bleeding but only when I blew my nose.... not nose bleeds on their own. Then it went to sinus infection... then it went to sores in my nose.... then it went to HUGE sores deep in my sinus cavaties...so deep I could not feel them inside my nose...thats when the headaches started...thats when I went and seen an ENT doctor... he put a camera down my nose and we got to SEE what was going on down there.... YUK!!!... it was just all raw and scabby.... soooo..they firgured it was the chemo that got me to that point and the Avastin was not letting it heal. They took me off Avastin for almost 2 months now and nose is just about healed and headaches are gone. Please note.... I have been off Folfiri for many many months but the actual damage occured while I was on it.... and then it just got worse because Avastin was ongoing and would not let it heal...... ugh..always something! Before the damage in nose.... I never had headaches from Folfiri. You take care Pepe and hope that headache issue goes away!
