Mum is a lot better :)
However she is due for her next chemo ( was meant to have it last Thursday) but didn't as she had her infection.
I am hoping the steroids keep her feeling this good, or even if she was just rough for a few days, that would be a bonus, she has felt so awful now for 4 weeks it was starting to get her really down , it's only been the last 2 days she has felt reasonably normal. We went out for lunch today, my god it was good to have my mum feeling well enough to do that!

WHAT WAS FOR LUNCH
i am glad you and your mum were able to spend some quality time together. Did your brother come too? What do people in the Uk have for lunch these days? Here in US we have sandwiches or quick burgers. Hope your mom had a good appetite. Wishing you and your mom the best of luck and hope her next tx goes fine...val -

My brother is in Thailand at the moment , due back on the 21st of April ! Yay!
We had prawn and crayfish sarnies in the local pub, and of course me being greedy had to have a bowl of chips!!!!
I treasured every moment of it, as the song goes " you don't know what you got till it's gone!!! " never a truer word spoken!!! -

So happy to hear that your mom is feeling better and was even able to go out for lunch. Prawn and crayfish "sarnies" (took a few Britcoms for me to get that it's "sandwiches") here would be unusual. They sound very yummy!
