Today...

Today I will go out into the world, put a smile on my face, and try with all my heart to touch someone else' life in a kind manner!

Today, I will carefully, gently and lovingly put my grief and sorrow away, for awhile, and try only to see and feel the gifts that I am given.

Today, I will laugh at the antics of the hummingbirds that come to feed in my yard. And remember that life does go on, and so must I. Not in darkness and pain, but in the light and joy of a new day.

Today, I will drive down the road and enjoy the blooming of the wildflowers that are beginning to color my life once again.

Today, I will carry all of you in my heart, and imagine that you are next to me sharing this day with me. Together, we will emerge, stronger, more perceptive to the world around us, and able to continue our journey with the peace that comes to those who seek it.
