It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit

To focus in on the positive
is what I try to do. I love the last line that cancer cannot conquer the spirit if we don't let it! Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you, Jan, for posting it.
My cancer center has a poster of this up the waiting room & I really like to read it each time I go in!
If you LET it, it can indeed do some of those things to you- I guess that's not the cancer itself, but our reaction to it.
This is a good reminder to help us keep our mind and spirit above all the garbage that goes with cancer.
Many of us need to see this- I would like to suggest to everyone to write this out and put it up in a prominent place in your home where you will see it often (and so will the other people in your household).
