FANTASTIC
Actually the best wedding I've been to. She's Irish, and my son on his father's side is a Scott. So they had an Irish bagpiper, which brought tears to her mother's and uncle's eyes. And my son and his best man in their Kilts, brought tears to mine.
The music, food, everything was great. And yes, the ceremony was great except when the officiant decided to cry in the middle of it, well, not cry, but a tear or two welled up and she couldn't speak for a moment. Other then that it was great!! (I had promised I wouldn't cry to myself, but it proved to difficult).
They seem a lot happier after the ceremony, (I think there's a lot of stress before!!!).
They were both happy with the whole wedding and had no regrets or meltdowns.
Grandma babysat after the reception was all done (didn't know I was supposed to, LOL)and I had a good night with my grandson, good little boy slept all night for Grandma.
Then my hubby, son and new daughter-in-law took me out for mimosas and brunch, which was excellent!!!
All in all a most beautiful weekend. And yes, I got out there and danced and danced and danced.
Pics when I get them from someone, I have some posted on facebook, but am trying to figure out how to get them from phone to here. LOL. Technically impaired.
Okay, off to mid-term studying and essays to do.
Love to you all, thank you for the thoughts and good wishes!!!
