in Breast Cancer #1
I am being targeted on my job due to the fact that I am sick a lot due to tamoxifen in the past 4 1/2 years It has been very difficult for me and my family Breast Cancer entered in and life changes and now this...I have had staph infection 14 times and that to name a few. What advice could any of you give me on handling this personally I am also in a lawsuit I am suing and we are currently waiting on the EEOC decision

    just taken off it last week
    My only side effects are thickwning of uterus-so doesnot effect my job-dont miss any days so not much advice! Do you bwlong to sick bank? Or used FMLA???

    never FMLA I didn't qualify I had to be at the new school I am currently for one year I was there 3months when the principle started on me I had a bacterial infection, 2 viral infections surgery and staph by October I the sick bank I am in I have to be out for a month first to use it and I was hired the month before my lumpectomy 5 years ago they hired me sick and I also had started my tamoxifen that november I was hired in May so this Dec I get off the meds I am doing pretty good now I deal with the joint aches and I am on pain killers all the time I have documentation for everything that is why the lawsuit is neccessary

    wow so sorry..timing seemed to be of..
    I was sent FMLA with in 24 hrs of telling them of BC it was in my home mailbox...NO one explained it to me...so just tossed aside..I found our after the fact from support group for work related issues...

    I hope things have calmed down and better for you now...

    I wish I knew then what I know now...things would have been differnt for me for sure..
