My only excuse is a wonderful afternoon. I couldn't dump our surprise at the hotel with the rest of day in front of us. We went to the mall for souvenirs to take back, and then the park for a walk in the sun (it was out briefly), watched the ducks and turtles with...

Our surprise guest was Phoenix Rising! She came all the way from northern British Columbia just to lunch with us! Amazing...I am so very touched that she would make such a long journey.

I will always remember the chance to meet each of you, what memories I have to cherish. And hope we will be able to get together again. We decided the next one should be in the Bay Area...

I have so many to thank...all the kindred spirits for the lovely candles to remind me that dreams burn brightly...RE and her daughter for the pink ribbon made with care which I wear proudly and the tile to remind me of hope...Chen for the bottle of wine...Phoenix Rising for the beaver which sits so nicely and the angel to celebrate with... Double Whammy for a delicious little bunny...the restaurant for graciously allowing us to sit and talk without rushing us out on a busy Saturday...those that wanted to attend but couldn't. I hope I haven't forgotten anything. There was so much care, love, and laughter...what a day! Thank you all so much!

    It all sounds so Wonderful! I am happy you Sisters in Pink were able to meet and spend some invaluable time with one another. This is a very special kinship we have with one another. I am looking forward to seeing some pics.

And if there is another get together I sure do hope I can make it. Darn it, I want to meet people. I want to get out, I want to have lunch. LOL
