I hope the time flies for you, and that everything goes smoothly. I'm sending positive thoughts, prayers, and good mojo.
Hugs,

Good luck tomorrow with your planning session. It will take awhile, so, don't be upset about that. I think it took them about 40 minutes to an hour for me. But, the treatments themselves only take a few minutes. Good luck!

Good luck tomorrow and I'm sending you all kinds of positive thoughts. I haven't had rads yet so I can't give any input there, but I will be hoping and praying that everything is smooth sailing for you.

I went for my planning session yesterday. I was there for almost 3 hours! The worst part of it wasn't even holding my arm up in that position. The worst part for me was the tattoo! Geez, I thought it was just gonna be a dot made with a pen or something. I never imagined they were gonna dig through my skin with a frickin needle! Wow, that smarts! I begin rads on April 11th, which just happens to be my Birthday! Happy Birthday to me... They gave me some cream to use at nighttime called "elta lite." They do give aquaphor, but not right away.
So I have a couple of weeks of "normalcy" whatever that is. Good thing too because last week I moved my 80 year old Mom in with me. She is very sick and I am trying to take care of her, plus care for myself.

Sorry that the tattoos hurt. I just felt a little prick with mine. Talk to your rads oncologist, but, you should start using your creams from day one. Even if your skin looks ok, remember it is being radiated.
Good luck to you! -
