News from Rabarbar
There are two news: one bad, one good:
* The bad is that the tumor is located very deep in the gland which means that the surgery will be more difficult because of the facial nerve.
* The good news is that the tumor has not become larger since last two months. It is exactly like two months ago (13x10 mms), I think it is a good news because I read that malignant tumors usually rise very fast.
So, a diffucult week ahead of me.
Hope all of you are OK.

Fresh news from me
Hello,
The FNAB showed it was Adenoma Polymorphum (other name: Tumor Mixtus), typical and most popular tumor of the parotid glands, as my doctor said.
On 6th June I had a surgery in Warsaw, Poland and the postoperative medical examination (histopathology) confirmed the diagnosis. As far as my doctor said, Adenoma Polymorphum is a benign tumor, however with some chances to recurrences.
Three weeks after surgery I feel good, tomorrow I am going back to work. And I did a small gift to myself -- a ticket to Pat Metheny's concert
Duzo zdrowia (lots of health)

Thanks for the update - great to hear it's benign (great word). Good, too, that you're ready to get back to work (and out to the concert).0 -

Hope you enjoy your concert. I'm not much of a Jazz person, but I believe in the late 80's early 90's, I saw Pat Metheny playing in a club in Manhattan, and Chick Corea was there. My boyfriend at the time liked him, and he also took me to see Stanley Jordan and Spyro Gyra.0 -
