Thank you Nancy for responding. No, I haven't kept the skin gathered after putting in the needle, we were told in the beginning we didn't have to. I don't know what's right anymore. I am getting so disgusted with this whole injection bit. And, I do get a little lump afterwards. It's a shame, my whole belly area is full of black and blues. Again, thanks for answering and I hope you're feeling better.

    Are you on Fragmin? Either way there should be a package insert. Read in the instruction on administering the medication. It should tell you where you can administer and if you should keep the skin held up or not. Good luck. Sorry this is stressing you so...
