Just found out about 4 months ago I have prostate cancer. My PSA is 13 (3+3) and had biopsy with 18 core samples. One showed 5% cancer. I was leaning to the seeds but now am considering removal. Does anyone have a recomendation for a Dr in the Sacramento area or Bay area? Any advise would be appreciated. Dave

    Good practice of the surgeon equals to success

    There is a doctor named Stephen Tailor who is a researcher in prostate cancer author of several abstracts. You can read about him in this site;
    http://www.pacificurology.com/doctors/dr-taylor.html

    Success is very much dependent on the good practice of the surgeon, doctors team and facilities. Try to gather as much information as possible from several sites about doctors CV and experience of the hospital.
    I wonder why you have choosen robotic RP vz open RP, but I believe you are in "command" and doing well.

    Wishing you the best in the treatment.
