As those of you who are on Facebook know, we had our dear dog Bodhi euthanized yesterday. Your messages on here helped us to know that the time had come to end any suffering before he was in too much pain or before he lost control of his body. So I really want to thank all of you for your helpful words here and for all of the condolences you sent me on Facebook when you saw that he was gone. His passing was extremely difficult, but very humane and peaceful. Love andn thanks, Linda

    Bothi was so lucky to have found some to care so deeply about him.

    Hopefully in time you will decide to open you loving home to another
    soul that needs your love.

    Awwh Linda i just seen this...im so sorry! Im glad he went peacefully i know how difficult that must of been for you. Im going thru the same with my cat right now and the day is coming when we have to make that decision too...i really dread it. But at least we love them enough that we dont want to see them suffer.

    Oh Linda I just now saw this, I am so sorry for the loss of you well loved furry little friend Bodhi. They give us so much, it is so difficult when the time comes to let them go. You are a good person who did what was right for her very special friend.

    It always breaks my heart to loos a pet. They just don't live long enough do they. I will be is the same situation with my 16 year old poodle very soon. :( I will pray for the strength to get through it. Big Hugs to you Linda Take care.     It is difficult to say good bye to a beloved family member. Our
    animals are just that, family members. You put Bodhi, and his health before your emotional needs to have him with you .. so Kudos to you, and your family. Bodhi RIP.

    My heart aches for you Linda. I've lost my fair share of dogs over the years and when I had to put my Gracie Girl down a couple years ago it was the most difficult thing I have ever done. You did the right thing to let Bodhi go before he suffered but it doesn't make it any easier. Remember Bodhi is in a good place and one day you'll see him again. He was lucky to have such a compassionate family to love him and cherish him all of his days.

    Sorry for the loss of your beloved Bodhi.He will be deeply missed by you and your husband.I am glad you were able to be with him at his passing and tell him Good-Bye.He saw you and knew what you meant and he is resting in peace now.Animals are soooooooo smart.

    I want to share what my granddaughter told me when my previous dog died. "Bodhi may be gone now but he will always be with you in your heart". Sometimes the wisdom of youth is beyond their years.

    My thoughts are with you. One of my precious lab mixes is going through a tough time at the age of approx. 11-12 yr. I hope I do the right thing if she gets worse.
