Onngratulations and wishing you many many more years.Every year is a milestone for us cancer survivors. We have our tests and then wait for the next one either 6 months or 1 year.
I remember thinking my first year was never going to get here.I was so tired of telling people one month two months 6 months.I could finally say I made it a year.
I am right behind you.It will be my 2nd anniversary on Aug 19,2009.Well that was when I was told but like someone else it was found another date July 2,2009.Two months later Sept 2,2009 the 2 tumors(1 benign,1 malignant)were removed.Way to long to wait esp when I called several times about what is going on and also finally went in to see doctor in person.Just to get a biopsy through the radiologist. Many many years ago when they found my breast tumors I was in the hospital having surgery in 2 days NOT 2 months.
Wishing many many more years for you.If you're like me I am waiting for that 5 year milestone and then some.
