    On the last minute of our lives, we stand alone. Unless we have collected people in our hearts over the years of our existence. Then, and only then, do we stand in a HUGE group on that last breath....

    John will be standing with a group that stretches as far as the eye can see...

    Stand by me
    was playing on the radio (by Joan Armatrading) as I drove to work, and tears were just rolling on down my cheeks. Then I got to work and checked the site, which I don't normally do right when I get to work, and here the song was here again. I received this CD as a birthday gift. Thank you Laurie; a big help to me this morning.

    Such comfort standing together in this world.
