sending happy thoughts
Is féidir go gcoinní Dia duit i mbosa a láimhe, Go dtuga Dia do síochána athair sa saol seo agus an chéad cheann eile. Nuair a osclaíonn Dúnann an doras, fuinneog.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand, may God grant your father peace in this life and the next. When a door closes, a window opens.

Many Prayers
Hey Chrissy
May God bless you, your dad, and family at this most difficult time. May he grant you the strength you will all need in the near future. Live each day to the fullest. Tell him how much you care and love him.
Give him your blessing to let it be his decision where he goes from here. I lost my dad to EC March 9, 2010. We will forever be our Daddy's Little Girls! Peace!

Thinking of you
Chrissy,
My family and I are thinking of you at this difficult time. Our prayer for you is that you will find a peace that passes understanding and comfort beyond measure. We are facing a similar situation as our time with my brother will soon be drawing to a close. Make each moment count. Our hearts go out to you.

tender days, scary nights
Hi Chrissy,
My father died 10 years ago, and once his cancer took off he went so quickly that his suffering was brief. Those last weeks were full of tender days and scary nights, but I'm so glad I was able to be part of it. Wishing you the best through these difficult times. It will be okay.0 -
Thank You
Thank You all for your thoughts and prayers. My dad is hanging in there, having good days and bad. I am having a hard time believing he doesn't have much time left. He is still able to be up and walking around, not much, but some. He is still eating some too. I guess nobody knows exactly when, and I know things can change from day to day, but it doesn't seem real to me. He is in such good spirits, and isn't afraid to die, which makes things alot easier on us. He actually has us going to the funeral home to set up arrangements now, because he wants to be a part of it all. He says he doesn't want to burden us with it after he is gone. Just the way he is, always wanting to take care of us, when now is the time he needs us to take care of him. Thanks again, I really do appreciate your kind words and thoughts at this time. Thinking of everyone here, Chrissy.0 -

Thanks for your
Hi Chrissy
Thanks for your update. Your dad sounds a lot like my dad. The week before he passed he made sure I got to the funeral home and made all the arrangements. Made sure we were not putting him back in the hospital. He wanted to pass at home, which he did. Made sure when the rescue squad came they carried him out head first, not feet first! He said I came into this world head first, I want to go out of this world head first! Ok dad all of your wishes were fulfilled. Glad to hear your dad is in good spirits! Good for him, keep that positive outlook. Enjoy these days. Live for today. Your dad will know when his time has come, and he will tell you. Until then.....cherish each and every moment. Keep in touch.
