Lupron Question
this last shot made me very sick. Pain all over my body....like the Taxol did me years ago. short of breath and dizziness.....Has anyone had a bad treatment with Lupron. Could
I be taking to many?
My ONC wants me on the rest of my life.

Why the rest of your life?
Ann, I'm not on Lupron injections, though my oncologist and I have talked about it -- but just was wondering why you would need to be on them for the rest of your life?
My understanding is that Lupron injections are given to pre-menopausal women to stop our ovaries from making estrogen....eventually, won't your body go through menopause on its own, your ovaries would then shut down, and you won't need the injections anymore?
Just curious? I hope you start to feel better soon.

years ago while undergoing, In Vitro Fertilization treatments.. 5 cycles to be exact..
I shot myself up daily for several years .. Lupron in my case was used to STOP my ovaries from producing any eggs. I recall being weak, and dizzy - but forged ahead, cycle after cycle - hoping and praying for a baby.
Ann, please contact your doctor - it appears that you are very sensitive to both medications. Life with breast cancer, or after care shouldn't be hard on any of us WARRIORS. This just seems unfair.

lupron
To anyone who has taken lupron or have been told by a doctor to take it needs to Google
lupronvictimshub. It is recomended for 6 weeks only and another 6 weeks later if needed but no more. This is a very toxic drug, you will see on the web site about the former FDA member telling about the lack of testing the drug. You need to know about the devastation that this drug has causes. Please look it up0
