Hello everyone! Im kinda new to everything here. And it makes it hard bc my grandma is now battling lung cancer. She was diagnosed may 1 2010. She did 6 weeks of radiation and chemo and that was a struggle considering she is 83 years old. She went into remission after tx and now 5 weeks ago the cancer has came back. She is now in week 3 of chemo and has 3 more to go. We (my mom and I) told her it is up to her if she wants to continue, and she said "yes as long as it helps". My worry is that what if it doesnt and we are having her suffer for 3 plus weeks of all the side effects. I just want my Mamaw all better but the more i learn and what teh dr said, its hard for me to stay positive. I just would like any ones help or feed back. I have noone that understands what we are going through. So i hope to help gain some support out there.

    grandma's choice
As long as grandma is lucid, in my opinion, it should be grandma's choice. In fact, a loved one should probably ask her to put her wishes into writing for the time when she is no longer lucid.

But as long as she is lucid, in my opinion, it is not your opinion that matters.

    Take care,

    Joe
