tho I kinda go with the idea expressed by other researchers that individual cells within the tumor compete with each other to survive,( as per Darwin)which these authors disagree with, nevertheless, an unusual concept, found at

Also,you might be hearing more of STAT3 as a target of researchers as an independent prognostic factor for CRC as it receives more study.....
